A Chowki is a stackable, child-sized floor table and can be used to help your students comfortably write, draw, or work while sitting on the floor. Maria Montessori first observed children using Chowkis in India and introduced them to Montessori environments, where they have become a staple in classrooms around the world.

The Chowki Floor Table is designed to be used without a chair, like a floor desk. Children and adults can sit or kneel at the Chowki, which neatly defines their workspace and promotes focus on the task at hand. With its lightweight design, the Chowki can easily be moved around and offers a wonderful space-saving solution.
